A big part if my, ahem, growing up time was spent in Kentucky. Or gentle rolling hills were great for tobacco and horses (and, I found out later, weed), but I got to spend some time in Indiana and have family in Kansas. People say and write a lot about corn fields, but until you’re driving just at dawn, crest a rise and everywhere you look under that new sun is this kind of glory, you really don’t get it. As good as the good stuff gets. Lovely, lovely shot. Gettin’ them words right without a word. Ah…
