This actually brings me back to DC and New Orleans, strangely enough. People held onto things there until they couldn’t be repaired at all. Somethings you saw in shops were older than the buildings. Loved that. Still do. My boss has a bandsaw from 1933 that is one of the most brilliant pieces of equipment I’ve ever seen. We literally do not make things like this anymore. Would love to see you and your camera interpret it.
